As a lobby group for non-commercial private broadcasting, we are committed to its development in accordance with the Charter of Austrian Community Broadcasters and call for an increase in public funding.
We strive for systematic amendment to the Austrian broadcasting regulations to adequately address the unique aspects of non-commercial private broadcasting: open access, ad-free, non-profit status.
Our goal is to bring the comprehensive services of non-commercial private broadcasting to the population, and provide local and regional communities with diverse and multilingual programs as an alternative to public and private commercial broadcasting. Media education for all. Democratic access to technical infrastructure and cross-media distribution of socially focused content.
Bringing our practical knowledge of cultural diversity and participation into our work with decision-makers and opinion leaders, we seek to affect positive and progressive social change.
