Alongside various day-to-day programming collaborations between individual stations, community media in Austria often engage in joint programming efforts for example School Radio Day, the Szenenwechsel series which highlights local music scenes nationwide, or in the national information magazine Stimmlagen. There are also joint annual thematic spotlights on political and cultural topics.
Through this aligned programming focus, community broadcasters aim to strengthen their cooperation with regards to content, as well as expand their breadth of coverage and increase their presence.
The programs are produced locally and aired on all participating stations.
